"To improve joint function, it is necessary to approach the pathology of the entire joint, not only cartilage but also subchondral bone, ligaments, joint capsules, and other tissues. Bone marrow lesion (BML) is a typical MRI finding. They can turn into osteonecrosis and osteoarthritis if proper measures are not taken. However, there is currently no standard gold therapy for knee and hip BML. How to alleviate the pain of patients and improve joint function should be our pursuit. Inflammation is a normal response to disturbed homeostasis caused by infection, injury, and trauma. Our bodies respond with a complex series of immune reactions to repair injured tissues and promote wound healing. Wen's Modern Acupuncture¹ reduces the overall inflammatory environment by neuroimmune modulation. Wen's Modern Acupuncture¹ reduces inflammatory environment through the anti-inflammatory pathways of the vagus nerve and spleen organ. Then local extra-articular ligament injection, intra-articular injection, and intraosseous PRP injection can regenerate pathologically damaged tissues.
